Bengaluru man arrested for aiding illegal Pakistani migrants
Indian police have claimed to have arrested a man in Bengaluru accused of assisting illegal Pakistani migrants.
The suspect, identified as Pervez Ahmed, was apprehended near the KSR railway station.
Pervez, allegedly linked to the Mehdi Foundation International (MFI), is accused of helping Pakistani nationals obtain identification documents such as Aadhaar cards, voter IDs, and passports.
His arrest follows the discovery of two Pakistani families residing illegally in Bengaluru.
The investigation began after police arrested Rashid Ali Siddiqui and his family, who had illegally entered India from Bangladesh.
During questioning, Rashid revealed that he had been in contact with Pervez, who facilitated their migration and provided necessary documentation.
