Pakistan opt to bat after beating Kiwis on spin of coin

Pakistan on Friday won the toss and decided to bat against New Zealand in the final of the tri-nation One-day Internatioal cricket series here at the National Stadium.

Kiwis have an edge over the home team as they have defeated Pakistan in their group match. However, Mohammad Rizwan-led side is determined to win the series as they devastated South Africa by successfully chasing their highest total in ODIs.

Speaking after the toss, Rizwan said that a change has been made in the national team. Faheem Ashraf has been included in the playing XI in place of Muhammad Hasnain.

They will try to give New Zealand a big target, added the skipper.
