According to the report, intense heat will start in the plain areas next week, while storms and rains will start in Punjab from the third week of May.
However, the majority of cities across the country are expected to see dry weather, while the central and southern areas should continue to experience high temperatures. In some places in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, rain is anticipated, according to the meteorological department.
Weather in Karachi is also likely to remain hot and dry during the next 24 hours, with the maximum temperature expected to be between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius.
Winds in Karachi are expected to reach 40 to 45 kilometres per hour in the next few hours, according to the Meteorological department.
